Summer's Over!

This was our last weekend of summer vacation before Pablo starts Grade 1 tomorrow. Al took Pablo out fishing and crabbing. They successfully caught crabs which we had for dinner last night! Today, they went sea kayaking where they saw pelicans, sea lions, and countless birds. It was such a great experience for Pablo. It's been a wonderful summer. Pablo is looking forward to seeing all his friends at school again tomorrow. And we are looking forward to having a consistent schedule again :-)

Berry Picking

We had a fun day picking berries at Phipps Ranch. The weather was perfect and the kids ate more than they brought home!

Bianca asked to ride a pony at Phipps ranch and we were excited! But once she got on, she had second thoughts! So, Pablo took over and had a grand time.

Pablo had the idea to have a joint birthday party this year with Bianca so we had a gaggle of kids and a jumpy house as well as two rather enormous cakes ;-)
